I.       Lee called the meeting to order at 6:44 pm

 

Dr. Blair Lybbert did a presentation on Equine Nutrition and Supplements. He was finished at 8:45pm. Very good presentation; a lot of good information. For anyone wanting a copy of the presentation, please call Jenny to send you a copy.

 

The regular membership meeting started at 8:45pm.

 

II.       Jenny Marlar read a summary of the March meeting minutes.

Minutes were approved as read.

 

III.       Treasurer’s Report:

Beginning balance $12,527.47

Ending balance $???????

The treasurer was absent and so we didn’t have a report for this meeting. Lee will send out the report to the BOD.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Board of Directors

 

§  No meetings have been held.

§  A meeting is scheduled for April 13, 2010, 5:30pm at Stockmen’s. Lee will put an agenda together and send it out to board members.

 

 

Rules Committee

 

Presenter: Julie Hughes - Absent

 

• Nothing at this time.
• Kim – we might need to get signatures added to the Bylaws for the IRS.

 

Show Committee

 

Presenter: Amanda Johnson - Absent

 

• Amanda raised a question/idea that if we run trail as a class or order as go, can we have the show judge, judge the class?
• This could possibly happen between Western Pleasure and before Western Horsemanship.
• This would make Trail an actual class.
• Looks like Gymkhana only on Saturday and everything else on Sunday.
• Cindy Clark says that Larry Larson (judge) would be interested in doing a class or seminar for the club.

 

 

Awards Committee

 

Presenter: Jacey Molyneux

 

• Had a meeting and approved the budget and awards requirements. Jacey will turn into the Board at the next BOD meeting.
• Still looking at vendors.

 

 

 

 

Public Relations/Special Events/Membership Committee

 

Presenter: Debbie Armuth

 

• Drawing for the March meeting – Marlene Turk is the winner.
• The museum event went really well with Dr. Blair Lybbert
• Will have a meeting on the same day as the BOD to hammer out a date and subject for the next Dr. Blair Lybbert seminar.
• Play day – decide what we are going to do….May 15, 2010.

 

V. OLD BUSINESS

 

• Nothing at this time.

 

VI.     NEW BUSINESS:

 

• Vet talks – as a thank you to Dr. Blair Lybbert, possibly give him and his wife a dinner at the Star. Address at the next meeting.

 

A motion was made by Debbie Armuth and 2^nd to adjourn the meeting at 9:02pm. Unanimous – motion carries.
